Discovery Youth Camp 2019 Details

Camp Theme: 

Psalm 37:5 “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He will do it”. 


Starts 4pm Monday 22nd April 2019
Ends 8am Friday 26th April 2019

Participants – $220 includes accommodation, meals, and all activities.

Registration is online – click the Register for 2019 button and proceed as follows:

  1. Read the Camp Rules.
  2. Make a note of the event booking number and other details and click on the link to complete the Medical & Consent form on the NSW Office of Sport website – you will need to complete one form per participant and for those under 18, a parent or guardian will be required to complete the form for the participant.
  3. Enter the type and number of registrations you wish to complete (you can complete multiple registrations for family members in the one form) and click Continue.
  4. Proceed to complete the form, including payment details and then Review and Submit.

The closing date for registrations is 8th April 2019.

What to bring

  • Sleeping bag (or sheets & blanket), pillow
  • Swimmers, beach towel and goggles (if swimming)
  • Covered shoes – these are required to be worn in the dining room
  • Warm clothes
  • Sunscreen, hat, torch
  • Bath towels, toiletries and thongs to wear to shower block
  • Tennis racquet if playing tennis
  • If you are participating in the Mud Run activity, bring a spare set of old clothes

Do not bring any valuable items as there are no facilities for secure storage.

  • 8:00 am – Breakfast
  • 9:00 am – Group activity
  • 10:30 am – Morning tea
  • 11:00 am – Group activity
  • 12:30 pm – Lunch
  • 1:30 pm – Small groups
  • 2:00 pm – Sport/Activities
  • 3:00 pm – Afternoon tea
  • 4:00 pm – Sport/Activities
  • 5:00 pm – Free time
  • 6:00 pm – Dinner
  • 7:30 pm – Night Rally

Note: There will be separate streams for; (i) those attending the Camp for the first time, (ii) those who have previously attended Discovery or a similar camp, and (iii) young adults who have completed school.
